Job summary

Compass Connections in Robstown, TX, seeks a compassionate program administrator to lead child welfare services. You will ensure compliance, supervise staff, manage schedules, and coordinate with the Program Director to deliver quality care for children in emergency shelter and group home placements.

Required are a Bachelor’s in a behavioral science field, 5 years in social services, and fluency in English and Spanish; a graduate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, sociology, or related behavioral science, plus 5 years in social services or childcare.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Graduate degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet federal and state regulatory guidelines applicable to the position.
• Monitor program operations, buildings, grounds, staff, children and vehicles.
• Develop proactive plans of action for areas of service as assigned.
• Coordinate and facilitate budget management and inter-department liaison.
• Provide timely feedback and support to personnel.
• Maintain staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and ratios.
• Review staff documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and participate in child assessments and admissions as needed.
