Job summary

Esperanza in Philadelphia seeks a dedicated Youth Services Coordinator to recruit and orient youth ages 12-24 for PA CareerLink, assess needs, and provide guidance toward employment and education goals.

You will coordinate services, counsel youth, and help develop Work Readiness Portfolios. Travel to schools and events is required; standard hours are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM in person, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with experience working with older youth.
• Knowledge of Philadelphia region youth workforce development and city agencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; workshop facilitation experience.
• Ability to track program outcomes and maintain documentation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and orient youth participants ages 12-24 for PA CareerLink.
• Provide individualized counseling and support for employment and education attainment.
• Coordinate PA CareerLink services and activities; act as single point of contact.
• Assist with developing Work Readiness Portfolios including resumes and mock interviews.
• Collaborate with schools and youth programs and facilitate workshops.
