Job summary

Seton Home in San Antonio seeks a Youth Care Worker to support pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children. The role involves supervision, documentation, meal prep, and coordinating activities across shifts. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, compassionate environment and maintain strict confidentiality.

The position is full-time, on-site with 2 pm–10 pm shifts Wednesday through Sunday. Training and ongoing support are provided to help residents build skills and resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year employment experience in child welfare or social services with children/adolescents.
• Reliable transportation; valid driver license; valid vehicle insurance.
• Must pass background checks and immunization records.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and assist with schoolwork and activities.
• Document daily logs and incident reports in the internal database.
• Assist with transporting residents to medical appointments and activities.
• Process medications using the internal system and dispense as needed.
• Maintain cottage cleanliness and ensure safety during shifts.
