Job summary

Seton Home in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Teen Parent Specialist to support adolescent mothers and their children in a residential setting. You will apply trauma-informed practices, teach life skills, and help participants develop independence and healthy routines.

The role requires flexibility for overnight shifts, strong observation and documentation, and a collaborative approach with staff to ensure safety and well-being of residents.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred in human services, education or psychology; high school diploma acceptable.
• Minimum 6 months experience in human services or child welfare with adolescents.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead parenting, education, and independent living activities during the shift.
• Build positive relationships and support mothers and their children.
• Maintain agency policies, document accurately, and meet licensing requirements.
• Provide input into treatment plans during team reviews.
• Perform overnight safety checks and prepare logs and medication processing.
