Job summary

Seton Home seeks dedicated Youth Care Workers to support resident safety and daily operations across morning, afternoon, and overnight routines. You will supervise activities, log daily events, assist with meals, and help manage medications in a busy shelter environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's preferred.
• 1 year of employment experience in child welfare or related social services.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
• Immunization records and background checks required; trauma-informed care helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents, document logs and incident reports in internal database.
• Assist with meals, household chores, and morning/afternoon/evening routines.
• Process and dispense medications; transport residents to appointments as needed.
• Support with shelter intake/discharge and basic safety of residents.
• Coordinate with Shelter Supervisor and other staff to ensure a safe environment.
