Job summary

Seton Home seeks Youth Care Workers to provide supervision and care for residents, manage daily routines, and document activities using internal systems. You will support morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts, ensuring safety,order, and engagement for children and families served.

Responsibilities include medication handling, transport to appointments, and maintaining records. Strong communication and trauma-informed approaches are essential, with mandatory background checks and immunizations

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year employment experience in the child welfare field.
• Reliable transportation; Valid driver license; Valid vehicle insurance.
• Must provide immunization records; Background checks and TB screening.
• Ability to set and teach trauma informed care practices; Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage residents during morning routine.
• Document daily logs and incident reports using the internal database.
• Process and dispense medications using the internal database.
• Transport residents to medical appointments, outings, etc.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality; adhere to Code of Conduct and policy.
