Job summary

Seton Home in San Antonio, TX is seeking overnight Youth Care Workers for a full-time role at 1115 Mission Rd. The position supports pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children, with a shift from 10:00 p.m.

to 6:00 a.m., Thursday through Sunday, on-site. Responsibilities include hourly bed checks, care for infants, medication audit, documentation, meal prep, intake processing, transportation assistance, and discharge preparation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in child welfare or social service setting with children/adolescents.
• Must provide immunization records; background and TB screening; valid driver license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Overnight bed checks hourly to ensure resident safety.
• Provide infant care as requested by residents.
• Perform daily medication audit and email results to staff.
• Document daily logs and incidents in internal database.
• Prepare breakfast and ready vacant rooms.
• Complete shelter intake for new arrivals as needed.
• Assist with transporting residents to hospital when required.
• Ensure discharge-ready status by scheduled times.
• Check refrigerators and pantry items for expired goods.
