Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona is seeking a Youth Care Worker to supervise youth in its emergency shelters and support daily routines, meals, housekeeping, and safe transitions.

The role requires Spanish/English bilingual capabilities, a High School Diploma, 21+ years old, and at least one year of youth supervision experience. Shifts are Wed-Sun 1:30pm–9:30pm or Thu-Mon 1:30pm–9:30pm, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Spanish/English bilingual capabilities.
• Availability to work five 8-hour shifts (Wed-Sun 1:30pm-9:30pm OR Thu-Mon 1:30pm-9:30pm).
• A High School Diploma or equivalent and be at least 21 years of age.
• One year of experience supervising, nurturing, and meeting the basic needs for youth.
• A clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver’s license.
• A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• CPI Certification, CPR & First Aid, Mental Health First Aid (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of youth in emergency shelters.
• Provide a safe, supportive environment for emotional well-being.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, recreation, and routines.
• Oversee transitions between activities and support learning and behavior management.
• Assist with admissions and discharges under supervision.
