Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona is hiring a Youth Care Worker in Mesa to supervise and care for youth in our Emergency Shelters. You will support daily routines such as meals, housekeeping, recreation and safe transitions between activities, while applying behavior management techniques in a compassionate setting.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English abilities, a high school diploma, and at least one year of youth supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work five 8-hour shifts (Thu-Mon, 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; 21+ years of age.
• One year of experience supervising and supporting youth.
• Multitasking for documentation in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and clean 5-year driving history.
• Level 1 fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of youth in care to provide a safe, secure environment.
• Support youth with daily routines including meals, housekeeping, recreation, and rest periods.
• Oversee transitions between activities and support learning and behavioral management.
