Job summary

Suvida Healthcare is seeking a Transportation Scheduler to coordinate real-time trip scheduling for our Medicare-eligible Hispanic seniors program. You will partner with the Dispatch Coordinator to manage ride assignments, communicate with drivers, and perform batch tasks for next-day service while maintaining high service levels.

Ideal candidates bring bilingual Spanish/English abilities, strong organizational skills, and experience in scheduling or dispatching in a healthcare or transit

Qualifications

• Fluent oral Spanish and English required.
• Strong reading and writing English required.
• 1 year customer service experience required; healthcare industry preferred.
• 1 year + transit experience with computerized scheduling or dispatching required; commercial transportation or ride management system preferred.
• Ability to remain focused and address rapid-fire questions and issues orderly, timely, and accurately.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills to resolve issues under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage trip assignments and trip completions in real time/near real time via electronic ride system, including with rideshare vendors.
• Continuous communication with co-workers to verify patient pick-up and drop-off.
• Daily quality checks on upcoming trips.
• Assist with next-day preparations to include tasks such as running batch jobs, reviewing and adjusting trip assignments and/or drivers’ schedules.
