McMaid Home Services is seeking a bilingual Recruiter and Office Operations Coordinator to support hiring for House Cleaning Technicians while also strengthening daily office workflow. Based in Rolling Meadows, IL, this onsite role blends full-cycle recruitment with cross-training across small-office operations, with a path toward full-time Talent Acquisition and HR leadership.

You will manage the end-to-end candidate journey, from sourcing through onboarding, while keeping hiring processes aligned with local and federal employment laws. The position also includes maintaining tools that support candidate experience, plus helping with general administrative needs as the team grows.

What you'll do

• Lead full-cycle recruitment, including posting roles on Indeed and social media, sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, completing background checks, and extending offers.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, facilitate initial company orientation, and help ensure candidates feel welcomed into the team from day one.
• Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to support a fast, communicative, and smooth application and hiring experience.
• Cross-train with a small office staff to support day-to-day administrative tasks, such as customer service, scheduling support, or basic office workflow when needed.
• Support local employer branding by helping market the company on local social media channels to attract top local cleaning talent.
• Ensure hiring, documentation, and onboarding practices remain strictly compliant with local and federal employment laws.

What you bring

• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) to interview and onboard the technician workforce.
• Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in high-volume, frontline, or service-industry environments (such as cleaning, hospitality, retail, or logistics).
• Comfort using modern job boards and sourcing channels, including Indeed and ZipRecruiter, along with general office software and ATS platforms.
• A collaborative, flexible working style and willingness to pitch in on shared office tasks to support team success.
• Strong relationship-building skills to keep candidates engaged in a competitive labor market.

Compensation and schedule

• Pay: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 35.0 to 40.0 hours per week
