Job summary

O'Reilly Automotive Stores is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and operations. The role may include shift management during absences and requires strong knowledge of automotive systems along with bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, efficient handling of orders and returns, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• ASE Certification required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per company policy.
• Process all buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store orders and communicate shipments to customers.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently using correct payment methods.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure staff follow posted schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including money handling and securing premises.
• All other duties as assigned.
