Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager andAssistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills and automotive knowledge are valued, with ASE and Spanish-language skills considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience and automotive knowledge desirable.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom, ensuring program execution.
• Ensure calls are answered per policy and orders are processed timely.
• Manage buy online/ship to store and transfers; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders, returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and communicate Zipline messages.
• Ensure clock-in/out compliance and adherence to posted schedules.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
