Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to support store operations in Moncks Corner, SC. You will assist the store manager in sales, appearance, and overall operations, with hands-on training aimed at future management positions.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, participating in hiring, ensuring safety, and managing metrics with the district manager. Fluent Spanish is highly desired and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience.
• Completed O’Reilly management training program.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Recruit, test, hire, evaluate, promote, discipline and discharge team members under supervision.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks and interviews.
• Ensure safety compliance and training across all areas with the management team.
• Make sales calls and manage scheduling and payroll processes.
• Monitor gross profit and KPI dashboards; review monthly P&L with store manager.
