The MIT position is a transitional role to prepare you for promotion into Retail Store Management. With leadership training and hands‑on assignments, you’ll progress within 8–12 weeks depending on your experience

Qualifications

• Leadership development and training focus for MITs.
• Clear communication with employees and customers to drive performance.
• Learn to manage, analyze, and reconcile monthly P&L statements.
• Support store operations and training processes.
• Assist with staffing, mentoring, and developing a strong team.
• Lead customer service activities and resolve issues proactively.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Complete management skills training and learn store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support store operations in alignment with AutoZone standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and address concerns promptly.
• Contribute to staffing, training, and development of team members.
• Assist with inventory management and merchandising strategies.
• Support the Store Manager in daily execution and reporting.
