Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance, fosters a productive team, and ensures exceptional customer service. MITs gain hands-on leadership training and structured learning opportunities designed to prepare you for promotion into Retail Store Management within 8–12 weeks.

Under the Store Manager’s guidance, you’ll develop operational expertise, lead by example, and progress based on performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Full-time availability with mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
• Spanish and English communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Live The Pledge and deliver WOW! customer service to drive store performance.
• Maintain clear communication with employees and customers to support execution.
• Learn to manage and reconcile monthly P&L statements to improve profitability.
• Support store operations and ensure adherence to policies and training processes.
• Assist with staffing, mentoring, and training to build a strong team.
• Lead customer service activities and resolve concerns proactively.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Complete management skills training and learn core store operations.
