Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and complete O’Reilly management training programs.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma.
• Required: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Required: Complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Required: Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Required: Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• Desired: Store or distribution center experience.
• Desired: Completed O’Reilly management training program.
• Desired: Advanced computer skills.
• Desired: ASE Certification.
• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Collaborate with district manager and store manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations; recommend pay increases.
• Assist in hiring by conducting recruiting tasks and participating in interviews.
• Support store manager with scheduling, safety training, and adherence to safety expectations.
• Make sales calls with or without the store manager; may have weekly customer calls.
• Oversee store operations and delivery fleet maintenance; ensure records and payroll are accurate.
• Monitor gross profit components, review customer returns and price overrides; discuss KPI data and P&L with store manager.
