O'Reilly Auto Parts in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role will lead the store team during the manager’s absence and opposing shifts, aiming to deliver outstanding service to both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours.
• Assist in setting team member goals, coaching, and ensuring training is up to date.
• Assist in hiring by coordinating interviews and evaluating candidates.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store and transfers are processed timely and customers are informed.
• Oversee returns and exchanges, refunds, and accurate invoicing.
• Ensure adherence to policies, including scheduling and clocking in/out.
