Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations in Alabama. This role oversees the store during absences and opposing shifts, guiding team members to excellent customer service and efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desirable: Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure team executes service programs.
• Staff the retail sales counter during peak hours and busy periods.
• Assist store manager with setting team goals, coaching, and training.
• Assist in recruiting tasks and interviewing candidates.
• Ensure calls and store communications follow company policy.
• Coordinate buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders.
• Process returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before shipment.
