Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric services in home and daytime facilities across the Dallas area. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication, feeding, and related disorders for patients aged 0–21, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve individual goals.

The role requires SLP licensure in Texas, completion of the CFY/CCC-P?SLP pathway, and pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
• CCC-SLP Clinical Fellowship year completed
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Spanish bilingual capability

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0-21, 2+ times per week per physician orders
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, feeding, and related impairments using appropriate tests
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan goals and advise on speech therapy modalities
• Plan and modify care to meet therapy goals
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training materials and in-service programs
• Possibly supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience

• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral‑motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech-Language Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
