Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas is seeking a licensed SLPA to join our pediatric home health team. You will provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities under physician orders, collaborating with the care team to support each child's communication goals.

Requirements include bilingual English/Spanish, current Texas SLPA licensure, and at least 6 months of full-time pediatric clinical experience; home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires bilingual English/Spanish and pediatric exposure.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure is required.
• At least 6 months of full-time clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
