Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services is hiring Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) in the Texas area. The role involves delivering speech therapy services under supervision, with documentation and progress reporting, in a home-care setting.

Ideal candidates have a Texas SLPA license, a Texas driver’s license, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available to fit various schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish).
• Home care experience preferred but not required.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of interventions as outlined in the individualized plan of care determined by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions of speech/language and oral motor development, and consult with other staff and the child's caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Speech Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
