Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services is hiring Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) in Texas. The role requires graduation from an accredited SLPA program and Texas licensure, with bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Opportunities include full-time, part-time, or PRN.

The SLPA will work under a supervising SLP to deliver interventions, document care, and contribute to patient outcomes in home healthcare settings. A valid Texas Driver’s License is required to travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Must be licensed in Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of interventions per the care plan from the supervising SLP.
• Conduct individual or group speech/language and oral-motor sessions.
• Complete documentation to support therapy services delivery.

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Experience in the home care setting is preferred but not required.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual required (English & Spanish) preferred but not required

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Role (SLPA):

• Provide a wide range of interventions as outlined in the individualized plan of care determined by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions of speech/language and oral motor development, and consult with other staff and the child's caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Speech Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
