Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services in Texas is hiring a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our home-care team. The role supports the supervising SLP with a range of interventions and documentation in patient homes.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas SLPA license, a degree from an accredited program, and a valid Texas driver’s license. Pediatric and home-care experience are preferred but not required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Experience in the home care setting is preferred but not required.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual required (English & Spanish) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of interventions as outlined in the individualized plan of care determined by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions of speech/language and oral motor development, and consult with other staff and the child's caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Speech Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
