Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services is hiring Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) in Texas to support home-based therapy for pediatric clients under supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist.

Ideal candidates have a TX SLPA license, a Bachelor's in Speech Language Pathology, and are bilingual in English and Spanish. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available with benefits and professional support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Home care experience preferred but not required.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual required (English & Spanish) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of interventions as outlined in the plan of care determined by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions of speech/language and oral motor development, and consult with the child's caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Speech Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology program

Licensed as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in Texas

Valid Texas Driver’s License
