Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services seeks a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) licensed in Texas. You will provide speech therapy interventions in home care, support families, and document care per plan of care.

Requirements include a TX SLPA license, a degree from an accredited program, and a valid TX driver’s license. English/Spanish bilingualism is preferred for serving diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Licensed in Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Experience in home health or pediatric care preferred; bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of interventions per the individual plan of care determined by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions of speech/language and oral motor development; consult with caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Speech Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on the patient’s medical record.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Maintain ongoing competence and updated field knowledge.

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Experience in the home care setting is preferred but not required.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual required (English & Spanish) preferred but not required
