Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services seeks a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) licensed in Texas. The role supports pediatric patients in the home care setting, with English and Spanish bilingualism preferred.

Qualifications

• Home care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of interventions as outlined in the plan of care.
• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions for speech and oral motor development.
• Consult with staff and caregivers regarding therapy delivery.
• Complete documentation to support speech therapy services.
• Measure performance and report to the supervising SLP.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Role (SLPA):

• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions of speech/language and oral motor development, and consult with other staff and the child's caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Speech Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
