Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish SLPA to join our pediatric team in Dallas, TX. This role supports licensed SLPs by providing in-home and daytime facility therapy, under physician orders, and aligns with Texas board guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas SLPA license, has at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience with children, and values collaborative, patient-centered care in a supportive, clinician-led practice.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
