Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed SLPA to join our pediatric-focused team in Texas. The role involves delivering speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, with supervision by an SLP in line with Texas board guidelines.

Requirements include bilingual English/Spanish, Texas SLPA licensure, and at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience in pediatrics. Home health experience is preferred, with opportunities across full-time schedules and

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
