Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

No prior experience required—comprehensive training is provided. You should be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and comfortable with physical tasks as some activities involve

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Help teach communication, social and daily living skills under BCBA guidance.
• Follow evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Participate in training provided to equip you for the role.
