Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in the United States to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teaching communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Training is provided; you must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. You should be comfortable with physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and be bilingual in Spanish.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test as required.
• Comfortable standing, walking, lifting and moving children up to 50 pounds.
• Team player with patience and compassion for children with autism.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Operate under the guidance of a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
