Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under BCBA supervision. You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. Must be patient, compassionate, able to stand, walk, and assist with activities weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age with a HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and ensure child safety.
• Complete onboarding and obtain required certifications as part of employment.
