Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Follow guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and ensure child safety.
