Job summary

Profound Research LLC is seeking a target-oriented, patient-focused recruiter for remote, 1099 engagement in vaccine/flu trials. You will manage high-volume outreach, pre-screen candidates, and schedule visits while maintaining rigorous study documentation and regulatory awareness.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging CTMS tools and strong communication to enroll participants quickly and ethically.

Qualifications

• Experience inpatient recruitment, call center operations, clinical research support, healthcare customer service, sales, or another high-volume outreach environment
• Strong professional phone presence and ability to build trust quickly with prospective participants
• Comfort conducting both inbound and outbound patient communication
• Ability to communicate with empathy, patience, and clarity while maintaining study-specific accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and comfort documenting information across multiple systems
• Comfort with medical terminology and protocol-driven eligibility questions
• Technical aptitude with databases, scheduling tools, CTMS, or patient tracking systems
• Results-oriented mindset supporting enrollment goals while maintaining patient experience
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong team communication

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound outreach to prospective clinical trial participants
• Respond to inbound patient inquiries and recruitment leads in a timely, professional, and patient-centered manner
• Serve as an early point of contact for prospective participants with empathy and excellent customer service
• Pre-screen potential participants by reviewing eligibility criteria and documenting responses
• Schedule qualified participants for screening visits and coordinate next steps with site or study team
• Support patient follow-up to improve show rates, engagement, and reduce participation barriers
• Maintain accurate, timely records across CTMS, scheduling tools, and logs
• Track outreach activity and recruitment metrics as requested
• Communicate with recruitment leadership and site teams regarding status and issues
• Contribute to a fast-moving recruitment environment with urgency and attention to detail
• Assist in obtaining medical records to confirm eligibility
