Corning Credit Union seeks a bilingual Spanish/English Loan Officer in the Wilmington/Corning market to gather applicant information and educate on credit union products while coordinating with Underwriting to decide loans. You’ll help members with loan requests over multiple channels and strive to meet service and sales goals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's preferred; commensurate experience considered.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior lending experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist members with loan requests by phone, in person, or online.
• Gather debt, income and supporting loan information.
• Make sound loan recommendations after interviewing applicants.
• Educate members on credit union products and services and meet sales goals.
• Document loan decisions with supporting information in the application.
• Navigate sensitive situations and balance service with risk.
• Communicate lending decisions clearly to members.
