Job summary

Preferred Credit, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Spanish bilingual Collections Specialist to engage with customers about overdue accounts and arrange payment plans. This in-office role requires strong negotiation and empathetic communication.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm CST with every other Saturday, and starting pay ranges from $22 to $25.50 per hour plus bilingual premium.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2+ years in customer service or accounts receivable.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English with strong negotiation skills.
• Professional phone presence and ability to handle high call volumes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to discuss overdue accounts and explore repayment options.
• Negotiate and establish payment arrangements aligned with company policies.
• Maintain detailed records of all interactions and agreements.
• Communicate via phone, email, and written correspondence to support timely collections.
• Collaborate with team to monitor account status and escalate when needed.
