Job summary

PowerPay, a fast-growing fintech, is seeking a Collections Specialist (Spanish-speaking) to join our team. This role involves supporting the servicing team with customer payments, collections, and reviewing credit reports.

Local candidates may work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home; non-local candidates may work remotely. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of collections experience, the ability to engage Spanish-speaking clients, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1–2 years’ collections experience preferred
• Ability to read credit reports is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and drive payment resolutions.
• Assist charge-off and collection accounts to secure loan repayment.
• Monitor standard collection procedures to minimize delinquencies.
• Communicate with customers via outbound calls, email, text, and chat to collect payments.
• Review customer invoices for accuracy and maintain meticulous records.
• Support back-end tasks and special projects as needed.
• Engage Spanish-speaking clients effectively to resolve issues.
