Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and team in sales, service, store appearance and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership and encourages bilingual applicants.

You will lead customer-focused service for retail and professional customers, oversee call handling, and ensure timely processing of BOP/ship-to-store and transfers, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Automotive systems knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is desirable.
• ASE Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure program execution.
• Answer phones according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers in a timely manner and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and external purchases per procedure.
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and staging of merchandise efficiently.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Coordinate Zipline messages, Image Maker tasks, and merchandising delegation.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security checks.
