Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of supervisors, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes leading a team, managing daily store activities, and delivering outstanding service to both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and orders/transfers are processed promptly.
• Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and ensure proper invoicing of merchandise.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security/monetary procedures.
• Ensure schedules are followed and clock-in/out is compliant with policy.
• Take on shift management in the absence of Store Manager.
• Coordinate merchandising tasks and communicate Zipline messages.
