Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of supervisory staff.

Responsibilities include leading a team to deliver exceptional service, supervising showroom customer service programs, and managing cash handling, open/close duties, and security measures as part of daily operations. Bilingual skills encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including team execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process and stage returned merchandise and issue refunds using the correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to the team.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clocking in/out.
