Easterseals Florida is seeking a Bilingual Service Coordinator (Spanish/English) for the Treasure Coast Early Steps program in West Palm Beach. You will serve as the primary contact for families, helping them access community services and funding to support children from birth to 3 with developmental delays.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, bilingual Spanish/English, and at least one year of hands-on experience with families or individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, social work, health education, interdisciplinary sociology, early childhood, child development or special education (transcript and diploma required)
• One year hands-on experience with young children and families in teaching, case management or counseling
• Experience with individuals with disabilities and/or developmental delays in a case-management role
• Bachelor's degrees in other fields require a minimum of 3 years of related experience in case management, teaching or counseling working with children with disabilities
• Ability to meet approved driver qualifications to drive personal vehicle for program needs

Responsabilités

• Serve as the single point of contact in assisting families in gaining access to available services in the community
• Obtain information on funding sources to help meet the needs of the children
• Provide parent education, evidence-based program to give strategies to the child's caregiver based on family needs during routine activities
