Job summary

CPSE Program in Queens, NY is seeking a full-time School Psychologist (bilingual or monolingual) to join a multidisciplinary team serving preschool children aged 3-5. Responsibilities include evaluations, IEP-mandated counseling, and collaboration with teachers, social workers, SLPs, OTs, and PTs.

New graduates with state certification are warmly welcomed to apply. Position is on-site with a traditional school calendar, including a 6-week summer program and built-in administrative days.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Certification as School Psychologist.
• Bilingual Spanish/English or Monolingual proficiency.
• Experience with BASC-3 administration and interpretation.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• New graduates with certification are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and gather histories for children ages 3-5.
• Prepare diagnostic, psychological, and behavioral reports aligned with clinical standards.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations and interventions with interdisciplinary teams.
• Deliver individual and group counseling, and parent training per IEPs.
• Participate in treatment planning, case conferences, feedback sessions, annual reviews, and IEP meetings.
• Foster positive, collaborative communication among clinical supervisors, school staff, and families.
• Maintain compliance with NY State CPSE regulations and standards.
