Job summary

The CPSE Program in Queens seeks a Bilingual or Monolingual School Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team on-site. You will conduct evaluations for children ages 3-5, contribute to IEP-driven counseling, and collaborate closely with teachers, social workers, SLPs, OTs, and PTs.

New graduates with state certification are welcomed. This full-time role follows a traditional school calendar with summer sessions and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience with BASC-3 is preferred.
• Strong collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and gather social and developmental histories for children ages 3-5.
• Prepare clear diagnostic, psychological, and behavioral reports aligned with clinical standards.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations and collaborate with teams to design interventions.
• Deliver individual and group counseling, plus parent training per IEPs.
• Participate in treatment planning, case conferences, and IEP meetings.
• Foster collaborative communication among supervisors, staff, and families.
• Maintain compliance with NYS CPSE regulations and standards.
