CareerNerds, LLC seeks a full-time Bilingual or Monolingual School Psychologist to join its CPSE program in Queens, NY. The role involves evaluating preschool children (3-5), conducting counseling under IEPs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and educators.

New graduates holding state certification are warmly welcomed to apply. The position follows a traditional school calendar with six weeks of summer programming and built-in administrative days.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Certification as School Psychologist.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) or Monolingual candidates eligible.
• Experience with BASC-3 or similar assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children ages 3-5.
• Prepare clear diagnostic and behavioral reports according to clinical standards.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver individual and group counseling per IEPs and teacher input.
• Participate in treatment planning, case conferences, and IEP meetings.
• Foster collaborative communication among clinicians, school staff, and families.
• Maintain compliance with New York State, CPSE, and agency regulations.
