Job summary

CPSE Program in Queens seeks a full-time Bilingual or Monolingual School Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team working with children ages 3-5 in a specialized school setting. You will conduct evaluations, deliver IEP-mandated counseling, and collaborate with teachers, social workers, SLPs, OTs, and PTs.

New graduates with state certification are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include preparing reports, making interventions, participating in IEP meetings, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• NY State Certification as School Psychologist is required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) or Monolingual candidates are eligible.
• Proficiency with BASC-3 assessment/tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and collect social/developmental histories for ages 3–5.
• Prepare clear diagnostic and behavioral reports aligned with clinical standards.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Deliver individual and group counseling and parent training per IEPs.
• Participate in treatment planning, case conferences, and IEP meetings.
• Maintain compliant communication with families, staff, and supervisors.
