Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring a Bilingual Safety Professional to oversee Construction Project Safety, Health, and Risk Management. You will develop and implement site-specific safety plans, lead the ORM process, and coordinate with General Contractors and owners to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

The role requires extensive S&H experience, training delivery, and knowledge of OSHA standards, with opportunities to shape safety culture across complex facilities projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a high school diploma.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience conducting S&H training, Regulatory compliance expert/1910, 1926, EM-385 1-1 Safety Management Systems knowledge, skill and experience ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 3100.
• Understanding of culture and culture building skills. Trainer Designation - OSHA 500/502 - Safety and Health / Occupational Safety degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Willingness to pursue Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).
• Previous electrical / construction / industrial / federal and commercial S&H experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Construction Project Safety, Health (S&H), and Risk Management, and manage multiple safety programs.
• Develop and implement site-specific Safety plans and ORM processes.
• Lead the ORM team in safety plan development based on project specs and regulations.
• Coordinate with GC/owner on site conditions and non-compliance notices.
• Advise project teams in safety training programs and technical reports.
• Assist with accident prevention programs and training plans to meet project specs.
• Manage site safety budgets and safe work permits and ensure contract compliance.
• Conduct/assist with incident investigations and reporting.
