Job summary

IES is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement, administer, and coordinate safety programs across projects, ensuring compliance with federal and state standards and customer policies.

The role includes delivering safety training, conducting audits, leading root-cause investigations, and maintaining safety records and reports for stakeholders. EMT or higher credentials are strongly preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• EMT or higher credentials preferred and CHST certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support safety policies, procedures and programs and federal/state standards.
• Deliver safety training and conduct jobsite audits to ensure compliance.
• Lead root cause investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain safety records and reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate OSHA inspections and safety program activities.
• Teach and mentor stakeholders to uphold safety culture.
