Job summary

IES is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement, administer, and coordinate safety policies and programs across assigned projects. The role involves safety training, inspections, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State standards as well as IES policies.

Ideal candidates have EMT or higher credentials preferred and at least three years in construction safety, preferably in telecommunications or electrical industries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• EMT or higher credentials preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in construction safety, preferably telecommunications or electrical.

Responsibilities

• Support IES and Site/Customer safety policies and programs to ensure compliance with federal and state standards.
• Perform safety audits/inspections and track corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training including NEO, OSHA 10/30 hour, and onsite programs.
• Coordinate root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare safety-related records and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Lead OSHA inspection processes and maintain documentation and communications.
