Job summary

Empower is hiring a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment for defined contribution plans across the Philadelphia area. You will support participants with enrollment, deferrals, and rollovers while leveraging Empower's technology to drive positive retirement outcomes.

A strong relationship with sponsors and stakeholders is essential. The role requires bilingual Spanish proficiency and residence in Philadelphia or nearby.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2-4 years financial services experience.
• Strong presentation skills required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Strong relationship building and territory management skills.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within timelines required.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies by conducting one-on-one virtual and on-site meetings using various technologies.
• Drive participants to enroll, increase deferrals, and rollovers from previous plans.
• Achieve business results and facilitate impactful conversations while meeting SLAs.
• Complete reporting within required timeframes and log meetings, attendees, and outcomes.
• Build relationships with plan sponsors and internal stakeholders to maximize outcomes.
• Manage meeting schedules and travel arrangements.
• Provide feedback to relationship managers about materials and strategies.
• Attend client meetings with service team members.
• May participate in finals presentations for new prospects.
