Job summary

Empower is seeking a results-driven Education and Enrollment Counselor to present on-site and virtually to defined contribution plans across the territory. You will drive plan enrollments, deferrals, and rollovers while supporting relationship management with plan sponsors and stakeholders.

This role supports flexible, hybrid work and requires strong presentation and client interaction skills. The position emphasizes collaboration with Relationship Management, travel as needed, and ongoing

Qualifications

• FINRA registrations (Series 6 and 63) required; fingerprinting is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant financial services experience.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Experience with Salesforce preferred.
• Ability to calculate figures such as interest, proportions, percentages, and fractions.
• Strategic thinker who can work independently.
• Strong relationship-building and territory-management skills.
• Practical experience providing high-level, consultative client interactions.
• Basic knowledge of defined contribution plans.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies via on-site and virtual meetings.
• Drive participants to take action: enrollments, deferrals, and rollovers.
• Meet business results and service levels.
• Complete reporting including logging meetings and outcomes in appropriate systems.
• Build relationships with plan sponsors and internal stakeholders to maximize outcomes.
• Manage meeting schedules and travel.
• Provide feedback on materials/strategies and assist in improvements.
• Attend client meetings with service team members.
• Participate in finals presentations for new prospects as needed.
• Ongoing training.
